ACDGC League Schedule

I can run league this weekend. I'd like to start at 1 pm both days, Herman on Saturday, Oak on Sunday. Should be nice all weekend.

Iq, we need someone to run it Nov. 7th. That's the first weekend we'll run league as per the schedule. You should get a hold of Mike if you're interested in helping though.

There will be no league this Saturday, the 7th. On Sunday, Randy will begin the Hardcore! tour at 11am at Herman Hill and we'll play doubles at Oak at 2pm, not 1pm as originally scheduled. Many of the other hardcore events will be at the same location as league. We'll do Newton on 1-31 & Colwich in Feb.

Tentatively Miranda will be able to help run league on Saturdays and myself on Sundays, but there are going to be many days we can't make it. Contact me if you'd like to help.

No league Saturday. I'm working. Very unlikely I could be off by 10am. I will make it by some time Saturday to mark out some tree planting locations.

League is on for Sunday at Derby. 2pm tee off after Randy's event.

If you can help, contact me. Events will not be ACDCG league events unless I am contacted by the person running league beforehand. A print out with scores and $ info will need to be filled out and turned in. I can get you all the information you will need. If you don't have MS Excel, we can get around that. I'll print out copies for you.

No more ACDGC league on Saturday this winter. Simply don't have volunteers .

Haven't adjusted any schedules yet. For now, we'll keep doing it at Oak Park on Sundays. 1pm normally, 2pm on Randy's event days.

Got some help for running league! Thanks to Ron Unruh. Please help him out whenever you can as you know this can be a thankless job.

Right now, it looks like Ron will be able to run league this coming Sunday, Dec 27th (I will be out of town). I think Ron will post here if he cannot make it. Following this, starting Jan 2nd, league will start back up on Saturdays at Herman Hill. But regular start time will be 11am, not 10am. I'll get a new schedule made and posted at the courses after the first of the year.

NOTE: League will be at 10am on Saturday, January 9th, at Herman Hill. Following league at 1pm will be the annual meeting at the WATER Center. We'll likely arrange for a fried chicken lunch provided by the ACDGC. Attendance is important for the quorum needed for the 2010 board election.

Are the pads still icy at Herman Hill? I don't think we have a flat shovel in the club house. Can someone work on the short tees if they are out there? That's what we are supposed to play on Saturday at 11am.

I just got a call and heard that those playing Randy's event are going home. I was going to drive all the way out there and turn around and go home. But I'm not going to bother now. Sorry if I some of you came out to play league. Between the weather, schedule issues, & lack of people to help with league it's been more difficult to keep this as regular as we would like.

League will be at Oak tomorrow at 2pm. Please spread the word. We just might make it above 32 degrees and I think a celebration is in order. I get off of work at 1:30pm, so I'm not going to be able to get it started right at 2pm, but I'll try to get it close.

I appreciate everyone's patience with the league schedule. Looks like I'll be working weekends for a while. There are some new folks chiming in to help out with league. I really appreciate this and I need to get everyone on the same page and up to date on info. I will be working on a new schedule soon. I know some said that 10am is way too early for league on Saturday. With this cold snap, I can understand this better. But I want players to be able to attend Randy's events as well. Perhaps next year we will coordinate this better.

For now, for simplicity's sake, I am going to say league will be run at Herman Hill on Saturdays at 11am and at Oak on Sundays at 2pm. Subject to change, I will try to keep everyone informed.
