The river has gone back within it banks. At places the grass is very soggy. We have the first shelter reserved. Park all campers on pavement or concrete. If this is not an option see me or Adam before pulling on the grass!!!

My 8 year old grandson, Riley (Dan's eldest), will be coming with me. His disc golf game is VERY ROUGH so, unless we will be having other juniors of his level playing, it looks like I have a caddy for the weekend. He is very excited about coming to his first tournament even if he won't get to play.

Congrats to Ron! I noticed he was the only one to beat par 54, which seems unusual for this tournament. Was there bad weather or did you add some holes?

Did anyone sign up for 2010 KDGA membership this weekend? This was the last chance to receive points for tournaments played prior to Beloit.

They added 2 holes so par was 60. Tourney and turn out was excellent. The tourney was run very well. Mace is a Pro and had a ton of volunteer help. Adam and his crew in Beloit definately worked hard to have the coarse ready. The weather turned out awesome. One note, port-a-potties and more trash cans could be a thought for next year. I hope we picked up most of the trash before we left. Once again, Smitty was Chris "the mic-mix-master" Smith and worked to keep everyone up to speed over the air waves. Finally, the Junior Jump-Putters we awesome to watch in their acting.

Mike, this was a 20 hole course(par 60). The 2 alternates were pretty nice. This first was very difficult with a tricky fairway, and a large retaining wall on the right side of the basket(about a 15-20 ft vertical drop!) framed with a road on the left! The second could have been just a little longer and it would have become much harder, but with the water up I understand why it wasn't.
What a great weekend! The weather was perfect and slightly cool , there was a lack of mosquitoes, and the company was AWESOME! It was great to see Smitty back playing.... though the water shot STILL kicked his ...well you know! Beer friz on Saturday night (after playing in the pool), complete with commentary, intermissions and the Ron-Ruh performers! Mace Man, Dynamic Discs and the City of Beloit put on a great time. If you haven't been to this event you need to put it on your calender for next year.....

what a great weekend! Very cool to see how many from Wichita made it...Beloit is always an awesome time. despite hole 9 and some spit outs, Smitty had some amazing shots...it was killer to see him back on the course. got to play on some amazing cards...where i witnessed some smooth consisitent play from ronverse while he slowly pulled away as each round passed by...good golf, good people, good food, good pool party, good nightlife...can't wait until next year.
