Just wanted to let you all know so you can plan accordingly. Dave lost his dad today in an accident. Don't know when or where the funeral will be. I will make sure that some food gets out there from our club.
A Cowley County man was killed Friday morning in a home-construction accident northwest of Winfield.
Leonard Richardson, 82, died around 9:30 a.m. this morning as he worked to pour concrete flooring at his residence on 55th Road. Richardson was directing a concrete truck driver when the truck struck part of a limb on a tree.
The limb broke loose and struck Richardson in the head, according to Cowley County undersheriff Bill Mueller. He was killed instantly and pronounced dead at the scene by the county coroner.
"It was just a very freak, but tragic accident," Mueller said. "He'll be missed greatly around here, he did a lot to help out a lot of people."

Re: Leonard Richardson
Leonard Richardson was salt of the earth, he'll always be remembered through the friends, family, and random people in his life that he touched.
It just goes to show ya, you cant' trust the Chinese.
