No snow. Warm & sunny. Expect 65 degrees and the same tomorrow. We just got to Ashland, gonna go play a bit now.

Who's all coming to Ashland to take our money?

There is $305 cash added to the payouts, thanks again to Rodney's sponsorship work here.

It'll be a shame if we have to split that between the 3 of us... :) :) :)

Sounds like there will be a good showing from this area, how about everywhere else?

If anyone reads this before leaving for the Tournament and can bring along a basket please post here that you are bringing one so no one else brings theirs. Sorry for the last minute notice but I forgot that we don't have an extra basket for Run for the Roses and the Ace CTP after the tournament. Thanks in advance for your help.

What an absolutely beautiful day. Started cool with hardly any wind in the morning. In the afternoon, it was very sunny and warm with a slightly stiffer wind challenge. Overall, I think everyone had a good time and was glad they came. I tried to make sure that most everyone went home with something. Thank you for everyone that made the trip to Ashland. And a very big thank you to Ryan Beisner and Don Mordecai for helping me get ready for and run a very successful tournament.

The results were as follows:
Open Men:
Ron Converse - 32-32-36 = 100
Smitty - 34-35-33 = 102
Brendan Hickman - 35-38-36 = 109
Kevin Keiser - 39-39-40 = 118
Ryan Beisner - 47-43-42 = 132

Open Masters:
Rodney Dyck - 35-42-38 = 115
Don Mordecai - 40-40-40 = 120
Randy Mattingly - 38-38-44 = 120
Robin Reimer - 47-41-46 = 134

Intermediate:
Bryan Tracy - 44-43-42 = 129
Charles Dickenson-44-42-45 = 131
Josh - 47-46-40 = 133
Shawn - 44-45-46 = 135

Am Women:
Kile (dragonessk)- 51-58-56 = 165

Junior Boys
Scooter - 55-53-50 = 158

Good job Dyck and Ryan.

It was a good time, lunch was cool, all the non-disc golf related people I talked to were cool and very interested in what was going on. The course was well designed, with many shots that relied on placement over power.

Ron is just lucky that we didn't have 12 more holes, or he would have been mine. J/K good shooting Okie!

Thanks to Rodney and Ryan for all your work! I saw some big bags with prizes for CTP's and a big payout for a small tourney from some leg work that was done to raise money or donations! I am sure it will be bigger next year! You can't beat home made trophies, nice touch Rodney! And Sam's Pizza Barn was great! Tell Phoeve thanks again!

I also liked the course! Can't wait to play the other six holes. Next time, you should have us bring baskets and we will do just that, if they are not in the ground already!

Oh, and it was nice to play on solid ground! :D

I just wanted to say thanks for all the work that went to putting on the event. The food was great. I enjoyed having a lot of lefty shots to go for.

What a great course! When I heard we were playing on a highschool I had concerns about the quality of the course. NOT A PROBLEM!this was a very well laid out ,technically challenging course with good shot variety on the menu.I`m hoping MASTER DYCK can post a few pictures of some ,the tunnel especially(I understand it is Smitty`s favorite). The old landscaping was tailor made for golf shots.Dinner provided by SAM`S PIZZA was great .The homemade brownies were a nice touch.THE WEATHER CO-OPERATED!!!With added cash and prizes, this was well worth the trip.If you did`nt go you missed out. Thanks for a well run event.
