If my my KDGA rating is 995 and pdga is 975 where does the 977 come in?

The 977 is the whole point. Your KDGA rounds averaged to 972, your PDGA rounds averaged to 995. 16 KDGA rounds, 5 PDGA. So the weighted average...

16x972 + 5x995 = 977 K-Rating
21 total rounds
