Many people have money from past mini events. $10 of that can be used to pay your entry fee to this tourney.

Also if you have played 6 of the past minis (and this tourney counts towards that number) you can add a bonus $200 to the Ace fund.

So planning on 30 people an Ace could be worth.
150+200+1/2 of KDGA ACE fund (an ace was hit in Norton today)= Lots of extra gas $$$$.

BIRDIE POKER!!!

$5 to play
Top 3 Poker hands (Best 5 cards) will get $$$

I will pick several holes, the "easiest" to birdie. Each of these holes will have several cards on the top. If you birdie the hole you take the top card. At the end we will see who has the best poker hands and payout.

Could be a fun little added twist.

Red Round holes:
1, 6, 9

Silver Round holes:
6,7, 8,

That would give you a shot at 12 cards if you hit them all.

OB's
-Both basketball courts.
-On or over sidewalks that line the fairways.
-Over the fence.
-In side play equipment.
-Past the paint line on 4/13 and not on the correct island.

UD's
-Between tracks.
-On or under picnic shelters.

MANDO's
-The only mando will be between the trees going to Red #2 from both tees.

Hole by Hole.

Holes 1/10
-OB Over tracks, sidewalk and beyond, on the basketball court.
-UD Between tracks.

Holes 2/11
-OB over tracks, sidewalk and beyond, inside swings.
-UD in the shelter and between the tracks.
-MANDO between the trees to the RED basket from both tees.

Holes 3/12
-OB over tracks and on or beyond sidewalk.
-UD in the shelter and between tracks.

Holes 4/13
--OB over the sidewalk or beyond the paintline and not on the island.
--UD if you land on the shelter.
*****This hole is going to be a little crazy. Both baskets will be on roped islands. The fairway will extend most of the way to the basket and then end with a paintline. From that line on you must land on the correct island or go to the dropzone. If you putt off the island you can mark the last place safe and reputt.

Holes 5/14
-OB on or over the sidewalks that line both sides of the fairway or on the basketball court.
*****The two sidewalks that cross the fairway are safe.

Holes 6/15
--OB on or over the sidewalks.

Holes 7/16
--OB on or over the sidewalk or over the dogs fence.
--UD if you land on the shelter.
*****The sidewalk that crosses the fairway is safe.

Holes 8/17
-OB over the sidewalk to the south.
******The sidwalk you cross just off the tee is safe.

Holes 9/17
-OB on or over the sidewalk to the right or over the dog fence.
*******The shape of the hole is a backward seven. There will be a paint line at the corner of the sidewalks.

I looked at it today, and there is a sidewalk that runs between it and the B-ball court.

So it will be OB.

All Sidewalks that run along fairways are the borders.

The islands are "ready" (We still need to add some string).

Looks like the best play to the long pin may just be to lay-up everytime.

That little bit of rope, that is much wider then the normal landing zone, sure does make the hole tougher.

Plan on putting out flags and doing a little more paint work tonite.

Does the Reach it rule count on this? if you hit something and can reach it without moving your feet from your lie you can throw again without the extra stroke???

Can you explain all these rules for the people who dont know them

The Valley Rules are this:

2 drives on first hole
The top of the basket is as good as a make
If you throw and your disc comes back to you, you can reach it without moving your feet. You get to rethrow.

Those were not the rules I was talking about, but these are always in effect.

I was thinking more along the lines of the Ace Fund of $200 extra dollars and being able to use $10 of your WVDGA credit to pay your way in if you have it.
