New Course Charity Benefit at Fort Riley
Hey guys, this is short notice but there is a solid group of active service men with the Big Red One that is trying to increase awareness and promote the sport on base. The baskets are in and they are trying to raise money for tee pads and tee signs through the Army chain of command. It is a 18 hole course that is on a former ball golf course that was decommissioned years ago. Plenty of elevation changes and interesting terrain. Low entry fees with lunch included so there should be plenty of funds left to buy some raffle tickets to win some very cool prizes that they have rounded up. All money raised will go to the Wounded Warriors program. This is a twofer, lets support a great cause and promote the sport at the same time.

This event is shaping up to be a fun day of disc golf. It looks as thought the Tourney Director, Mathew Williamson, has received RSVPs from 45 players so there should be a good group in attendance.

From what I can tell, this tournament was a successful one. I know I enjoyed the play & friendship that this day of disc golf brought.
