2006 Wichita Ice Bowl

We had 57 participants and raised $1,450 and 30 pounds of food for the Kansas Food Bank Warehouse.  That is $500 more than last year, as well as 25 more pounds of food.  The $1,450 was made up of $285 from entry fees, $663 from mulligans, $230 from individual sponsors brought in by only 2 participants, and $272 from ACDGC.  We also had

one $50 business sponsorship that covered the cost of the reserving park and building.  Thanks to all of the volunteers that helped by bringing baskets, bringing food and/or helping out in some other way.  Also, thanks to all who participated.  Without this great joint effort among (and charity from) disc golfers and their friends, we could not have achieved such great results.  We all have the right to be proud of ourselves.
