Fantastic disc. I look forward to a stiff headwind just to throw it. With 30 mph gusts, I am still maxing out my distance with a huge flex shot. This is the first disc I have thrown that doesn't require me to adjust my shot so it doesn't turn over into the wind. Highly recommended.

It is like the tourney drifted into the bermuda triangle. The TD and disc golfers were never heard from again.

Both Herman Hill and Oak Park in Wichita are good courses, both challenging. #18 @ Oak Park is on of my favorite holes. You play over a man-made "pond", but it is only a couple of feet deep. If you throw to the left, you putt from above the pin. There is also a disc golf course at a church...

If anyone comes across and ESP Surge, dyed red/blue/yellow, it would be mine. A tree towards the right ate it on hole 14. If you find it and are going to be at Pomona, I should be there. Otherwise, Merry Christmas.

Are these overstable enough for a forearm drive? Tee-Rex and the Surge are the only 2 discs I don't turn over.

What is the pancake grip? I am not a huge fan of the 4-finger grip, but I have not found anything that is both comforatable and stable in my hand.

On a lighter note, for KU Baskteball Fans, Moulaye Niang (the 7'1" stick thin forward from Senegal) has been spotted from time to time at the skate park by hole 13 at Centennial. One day, he was leaving as my group was teeing off. I put a drive about 20' past the pin across the creek. This caus...

Rookie Problem

I have only been playing a couple of months and I am happy with how may game is progressing...except for my approach. My drives and long approach/fairway shots are accurate, both line and distance. But my approach shots, from 75' to 150'ish, are really erratic. I cannot figure out what adjustments I...

I agree with you. I know from experience hole 10 is the worst. The group i play with have been teeing off next to the pad since the front of it is a sheet of ice. We all got a big suprise the first time we played after fresh paint, a bunch of busted arses. Not trying to step on anyones toes, but who...
