This is going to be one of the best worlds ever! I wish I could go, just to see the complex.
From what I've heard, safe play is rewarded (or rather, going for it too often is punished). The midrange second shot sounds like the make it or break it shot for those tricky par 4's. It's cool you guys only have to learn 3 courses.
Playing pro worlds doubles sounds like a great way to learn the courses! Anyone going to do this? I think the format is pretty killer. The refined alternating pairs format is the coolest doubles format I've ever heard of. This is like Smitty's switch doubles, only after each player has played from their partner's drive, they get to pick which one they will play best shot from. Tough shot doesn't sound too bad on the easier holes and only 1 player has to make the putt.
You guys have a great time and keep your patience with those tough courses. Take some pics and bring us back your review. And some big trophies!!

I think Eric would be pumped with a top 10 finish.
I also think that if he gets rolling early, he has a legit shot at the title.
Barry and Climo will be tough to beat if the courses are tight and technical.
I think that this could be the Worlds that gives us a first time champ.
People to watch out for.
Eric
Cale
Barsby
Crabtree
Anthon
Rico (I know it is hard to belive he hasn't yet won)
Coda
Randolph (He was once called the next Climo)

Is this true? I'd believe it. He is one of my favorite golfers to watch. If you haven't seen him play you are missing out.smitty wrote:.

Looks like the The soleng brothers are startin off on a good note. Got to play with Bard (board) in colorado. Real nice and a real good player.
Randolph himself looks like he's bring some final 9 game.

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.
