Take a shower and use dish soap to make damn sure all the oil is gone. Take an antihistamine to kill the itching and it'll go away in time.

Here's a neat trick. Hop in the shower and start some warm water on the area that broke out. Slowly increase the heat of the water and it'll feel so damn good you'll be taking 10 showers a day

bowlby has a good point. The hot water on the affected area will actualy cause your body to produce more hystamine's and it will feel kind of funny you are baasicly trying to almost scald the area. after you can take no more you will end up with several hours of itch free enjoyment since your body has over produced hystamine's it will not be able to make more for a while.

And I agree watch where you scratch...

The BUJI block is a new product they were passing out at the city of fountains it is a sunblock and poision ivy/oak blocker...

Why aren't the scores posted on the PDGA site? I was wondering how some of the round ratings were. Just curious.

Ivy update...

Up late the last two nights because of itching, but during the day is getting better! First spots are fading, and "new ones" are not as bad. For a while there I thought I must be re-infecting myself from somewhere. I think things are starting to get better!!!

Glad to hear _dm4........didn't want the PI to ruin our course's reputation. Believe me I know the course itself can be brutal......BUT they are still great courses to play on and we don't want anything to deter from people playing on them. :D
I'm missing Emporia :( ........never thought I would say that......

SWee-tee,

I think if a person is watching while playing, this sort of thing wouldn't happen, but then again, my disc landed right in it one time! Had to get it back. You are right thought, a "little" PI would not keep me away from E-town! Some of my favorite courses, and I have only played two (so far!).

I actually have heard that banana thing too. I also heard urine works, but I am not going to try that. Also bleach, gasoline, and kerosene. Not, not, not. I would sooner use the banana, and if we had some, I would try it right now, but I don't.

By the way, since spelling has become so damned important on this board, it's "banana", not "bannana"! Oh, and don't ever capitalize it again. Are we clear?

As much as it hurts me to blow this opportunity.

I was just making it up. I have no proof.
