Gamer Round

Post by MOthrows »

Austin and his buddy along with me played a gamer round today. Everything that was supposed to be waterproof turned out to be a lie.... We did seem to have the course to ourselves. :)

That ain't no BS. I was so cold when I got home. I took a warm shower and curled up on the couch for two and a half hours before I felt better.

I did have a good time. We will have to go back out after the snow melts and conditions are a little more tolerable.

Anybody up for playing tomorrow? Sounds like the weather is going to be good and I'm looking forward to getting my first throws in 07! Everybody could bring a disc that they don't use anymore and we could have an "out with the old rd". The winner gets everybody's old discs...or we could just play for our normal $100 dollars a rd...whatever.

I should be able to play on Saturday. I have something to do about lunch time, so it would be around one or one thirty before I could play. Just give me a call when you are heading that way. I should have a disc to play for.

Didn't need to be a gamer to play today. What beautiful weather for Jan! Austin won the "out with the old rd" and took my x buzz off of my hands. I hope it's this nice for league tomorrow!

It's looking like the forecast is calling for gamer rd conditions this weekend. Is anybody going to be around?

Give me a call when you are headed out. I have not talked to my pops yet, but I doubt he will want to play ball golf.

I'll have to run the Sunday tee time by the wife. Anybody want to play tomorrow? We could start a bonfire on #9 and roast the discs that let us down during the rd.

Don't investigate that tee time too thoroughly. I'm not really going to show up. It's freaking cold out there!
Guess it could be good training for my Alaska trip in February.

You sir, are no gamer. The cold just helps keep the rif raff out of the park (except us). I'm sure Alaska will be much colder, not to mention that arguing a rules call with a polar bear seems like it could be detrimental to your health. :)

No sir I'm no gamer at my age. I'm older/wiser these days. I'd go sit in a tree stand in this weather but probably won't golf. KU game/food/beer/warm living room/bowling ball to the face sound a lot more appealing.
Working temps in Alaska are suppose to be -20 on a good day. Luckily the client is dressing me for it. You aint finding that kind of gear at Wal-Mart.

Take out the ku game and the bowling ball to the face part and I can see where your coming from. Or, is the bowling ball to the face some sort of self punishment for being silly enough to watch an overrated ku team??

I talked to the old man. No ball golf. I am definitely down to play some disc tomorrow. I know I am going to stop at wall mart and get some of those hand warmers tonight. Tomorrow is only supposed to be 22 degrees with a wind chill of 12 degrees.

I don't know much about a bowling ball to the face. I know I have five bucks that wants to see it happen though.
