I really wish I could make it. Got a wedding to usher in, which will be a lot of fun but I really would like to play some Salina golf.

Should be a few folks there from Pratt... Pat and I for sure, perhaps Ed and Corbin.

James said he was going to go to the Rock! Just gonna park the semi and play! I plan on attending as well, so that's about it from Norton.

Mace are you going to add any holes if you have more then 90?
Some people may not have the internet or the connection to get PRE- Registered. So what your telling us is that if 150 people happen to show up
this tourney, you would tell 60 of them they couldn't play. That would be a lot of $ that the KDGA would be turning down. The ROC is a very popular Tourny and I would like to see it grow every year.

I would guess that it will have more players this year than last, and more next. The reason being when you get done playing a course as bad ass as the ROC and you take this experience to the course and tell all your fellow DG's and you tell them how bad they missed out they would more than likely want to go next year.

After all we do have a 100+ KDGA members now. everything is growing.

You'd have even more if it was a PDGA event.

If there were 150 players, every hole would have a group of 8.

One way to add more people would be to send a small group over to Lakewood for one of their rounds.

You could then add 45 more people. It wouldn't be to bad, if you played the South side for one of your four rounds.

Just an idea.

Problem with that is we steal most of the baskets to use at The Rock.

Maybe next year we'll have a course set up in Thomas too where they allow camping.

Good luck to everyone this weekend!

Smitty's Idea is not a bad idea and I will put some thought into this idea. If I do this there will have to be only one round at lakewood and 3 rounds at the Rock for everybody. What do the players think of this????

Rich last year and this year we are only pulling 9 baskets from lakewood.

Seemed more like 20. Especially putting them back on Sunday.
